Phila. Electrical downs West Chester Rustin

The Chargers used a big advantage from the line to put away a 68-64 victory over West Chester Rustin.

Philadelphia Electrical made 13 free throws in the fourth quarter. Rustin missed its four attempts.

Anthony Harris scored all 10 of his points in the fourth quarter for the Chargers. Devante Truitt netted 17 points, and Jihad Barnes had 10 points and five steals.

Zakee Shakur hit three second-half three-pointers en route to 11 points. Mike Cooper pulled down 13 rebounds.

Andrew Chobany led Rustin with 20 points.

Also at Chestnut Hill, Sammy Foreman had 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists to lead Martin Luther King past Wissahickon, 63-41.

Jameer Nelson/Pete Nelson Classic. Chris Clover keyed a big third quarter in St. Joseph Prep's 52-48 win over William Tennent at Widener. Clover scored seven of his 28 in the third quarter, and the Hawks went on a 17-4 run. Clover also had six rebounds. Tom Fox scored 13.

Norristown sank eight three-pointers in a 67-52 defeat of William Penn (Del.). Kip Patton scored 16 points and had six rebounds, Curt Lever added 16 points and five assists, and Chris Evans had 16 points.

Jule Brown scored 21 points, and JaQuan Johnson and Nick Jones each had 13 to lead Lower Merion past Sanford (Del.), 70-66.

Penncrest Tournament. Rahmi Halaby and Nolan Carroll carried Penncrest to a 54-30 championship triumph over West Chester Henderson. Halaby had 18 points, and Carroll had 17. Each grabbed seven rebounds.

ESCIT. Cameron Jones poured in 29 points as Pennsbury topped St. Johnsbury (Vt.), 64-50, in the consolation game. Mekhi Bryant added 16.

Nonleague. Austin Chabot scored 19 points, and Brendan Horan added 17 as Archbishop Ryan downed visiting St. Anthony's, 65-59.

Girls' Basketball

A balanced effort helped Neumann-Goretti to a 49-26 win over Cardinal O'Hara in the final of the West Chester Classic. AJ Timbers scored nine points, and Ella Awobajo added eight.

Boardwalk Classic. Emily Mackin and Jessica Gerber powered Council Rock North to a 55-47 win over Lower Cape May in the championship game of the John Carlson Bracket at Wildwoods Convention Center. Mackin had 15 points and six rebounds. Gerber scored 14 points and picked up seven rebounds and six assists.
