Schalick prevails at Boardwalk Classic

UMass recruit Rashaan Holloway had 25 points and 11 rebounds, and his younger brother Mike Holloway added 19 rebounds.

In the Big Al Bracket, Mainland outlasted Penns Grove, 81-77, in double overtime to win the consolation game.

Darius Jerkins had 25 points, 19 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals for the Mustangs.

In the Bernie McCracken Memorial, Ocean City downed Wildwood, 57-46, behind 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists from Jeremy Sullivan.

Penns Grove's Tristen Lloyd had 14 rebounds.

Girls' Basketball

Kennedy Johnson had 21 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to help Wildwood Catholic get past Washington Township, 58-49, in the consolation of the Boardwalk Classic's Fran St. John Bracket.

Johnson, who has committed to Michigan State, also grabbed 11 rebounds.
