Pacers even series with Wizards

Roy Hibbert broke out of his playoff funk with a season-best 28 points and nine rebounds Wednesday night, leading the Indiana Pacers to an 86-82 victory over the Washington Wizards in Indianapolis to tie their Eastern Conference semifinal series at one game apiece.

Bynum done for season

About seven hours before facing Washington in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, Pacers officials said oft-injured Andrew Bynum would miss the rest of the playoffs. The former 76er has a sore right knee.

Spurs GM wins award

San Antonio Spurs general manager R.C. Buford was voted NBA executive of the year by his peers.
