Pa. Girls: Phil-Mont Christian wins, 41-39, in overtime

Then Katharine Olinger added a free throw of her own to seal a 41-39 victory on Monday for the Falcons over visiting Faith Christian in a Bicentennial League Constitution basketball game.

Green's free throw capped off her game-high total of 20 points. She also secured 11 rebounds and stole the ball five times.

Lauren Tipton contributed eight points, five assists and 11 rebounds to help the Falcons. Olinger and Michelle Chen were the defensive heroes for Phil-Mont Christian, helping to keep Faith Christian off the board at the end of regulation, and limiting the Lions to one point in the overtime period.

Nonleague. Romeira Tucker had 21 points, eight rebounds and six steals and Denijsha Wilson had 11 points and six steals to help host Audenried top Overbrook, 67-30.

Friends' Central won on its home court, 46-34 over Pennington. Iyanna McCurdy led the way by scoring 16 points and grabbing seven steals. Mikayla Vaughan added nine points and seven blocked shots for Friends' Central.

Vanessa Figueroa controlled the tempo of the game with her 13 points and Mastery South defeated Sankofa Freedom, 41-35, at home. Nylla Crooks scored 12 points for Mastery South.

Juliana Michniak sank 10 of her 12 points in the second half to help Sacred Heart defeat Barrack Hebrew at home, 58-27.

Visiting Motivation defeated Strawberry Mansion, 29-21. Leading scorer Kraichelle Brooks grabbed all seven of her points in the first half.

Alexa Middleton, with 15 points and 14 rebounds, powered visiting Abington Friends to a 59-34 win over Solebury School.

Jade Young and Asia Turner both scored eight points and dished out five assists.

Senior Brandi James grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds to go with her game-high 20 points, leading Interboro to a 60-42 win over visiting Math, Civics and Sciences. Amber Huddell added a double-double, scoring 15 points and snagging 10 rebounds in the win.

Lauren Killion took charge with 25 points, including four three-pointers in the second quarter, to lead host Lower Moreland to a 58-45 win over Hatboro-Horsham.

Heather Hoppe paired 10 points with nine rebounds to lead Calvary Baptist to a 46-23 victory at Upper Bucks Christian. Mary Finkbeiner had 22 points and three steals.

Public League Bronze. Iyanna Walls had 15 points and six assists to lead Sayre to a 46-24 road victory against Kensington.

Public League Silver. Talia Burgess led New Media Charter with 18 points in a road victory over Roxborough, 38-17.
