Tony Carr did a little bit of everything to help Roman Catholic come back and beat Cedar Crest, 53-35, Wednesday night at Coatesville in the second round of the PIAA Class AAAA boys' basketball tournament.

Carr had eight points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Martin Luther King 70, York 56: Sammy Foreman led King with 25 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in a win at Reading's Geigle Complex. Jabri McCall added 14 points.

Class AA Second Round Basketball

Chase Kumor drilled six three-pointers and scored 22 points to lead Conwell-Egan to an 82-31 victory over Mahanoy Area at the Geigle Complex. Stevie Jordan had 16 points and seven assists and LaPri McCray-Pace grabbed six rebounds.

Malvern Prep named Andrew Kummerer its new head coach.

Ice Hockey

Alex Peterson opened the scoring and scored later into an empty net to ice North Penn's 5-2 win over Ridley at Hatfield Ice Arena in the Flyers Cup AA semfinals.

In the final North Penn will play Downingtown East, which beat Central Bucks South, 6-2, behind Jake MaGee's hat trick at Bucks County Ice Center.
