St. John's Vianney defeated New Providence, 63-39, Tuesday night in a Tournament of Champions quarterfinal at Pine Belt Arena. St. John Vianney, the Non-Public A champion, will play league foe St. Rose in a semifinal on Thursday.
St. Rose won the Non-Public B championship.
Kimi Evans led St. John Vianney with 15 points and Kelly Campbell scored 12.
Katie Kinum scored 14 to lead New Providence, the Group 1 champion.
Franklin 66, Middletown South 38 - Andrea Miller scored 14 points to lead the Group 4 state champions in a quarterfinal at Pine Belt Arena.
Franklin will face Group 2 champion Manasquan in a semifinal on Thursday.
Stephanie Karcz scored 15 points to lead Middletown South, which won the Group 3 state title.
