S.J season in review: The best games

Here were some top games this season:

Camden 85, Shawnee 79, three OTs, Jan. 8: Brad Hawkins scored 27 and Jamal Holloway added 23 as the Panthers survived an epic battle on the road with the Renegades. Luke Cooper scored 24 and Alec Warren added 23 for Shawnee.

Cherry Hill East vs. Cherokee, times three: The Cougars won the first game, 43-41. The Chiefs won the second game, 46-43. The third game was for the South Jersey Group 4 title and rumbled into double overtime, with Cherry Hill East emerging with a 48-39 victory.

Penns Grove 90, Clayton 89, March 3: Who saw that coming in the first round of the South Jersey Group 1 tournament?

Deptford 86, West Deptford 85, Jan. 24: Glenn Abbott went for 40 points for the Spartans in this shootout with the Eagles.

Paul VI 60, Timber Creek 57, four OTs, Jan. 10: The Eagles won their first game after an 0-6 start in dramatic fashion as Lonnie Moore scored 21.

Bordentown 57, Lakewood 54, March 4: The No. 8 seed Scotties rallied from five down with 65 seconds to play to stun the No. 1 seed as Myron Gordon went for 22 points and Dante Gipson scored 14.

Rancocas Valley 69, Cherry Hill West 67, OT, Jan. 25: The Red Devils were down seven with a minute to play in regulation but staged a furious rally behind Darius Dooley and Ned Ogoemesim.
