Coaches: Millville's Dennis Thomas is 28-16 overall in his fourth season and 15-6 in his second season with the Thunderbolts. Toms River North's Dave Oizerowitz is 29-15 in his fourth season.

Millville key players: Junior running back Clayton Scott has run for 1,497 yards and 14 touchdowns on 231 carries. Junior quarterback Tristan Harris is 86 for 161 passing for 1,420 yards and 20 touchdowns. Junior all-purpose Marcial Ramos has 37 catches for 702 yards and eight touchdowns and also has five interceptions. Senior linebacker Zack Douglas has 117 tackles.

Toms River North key players: Senior quarterback Mike Husni is 83 for 132 passing for 1,977 yards and 25 touchdowns and also has run 165 times for 1,545 yards and 18 touchdowns. Senior running back Parker Day has 1,412 yards and 23 touchdowns on 145 carries. Senior wide receiver Darrion Carrington, a Rutgers recruit, has 34 catches for 909 yards (26.7 average) and 15 touchdowns.

Key matchup: Millville's defense, led by Douglas, has to try to slow down a Toms River North offense that is averaging 46.9 points and features one of the most productive dual-threat quarterbacks in state history.
