Edward Saydee scored touchdowns on all three units and piled up 191 all-purpose yards as Penn Charter defeated Central, 35-6. Saydee, who had four touchdowns total, had rushing scores of 8 and 27 yards, a 62-yard punt return, and a 33-yard interception return.

Marvin Harrison Jr. caught 11 passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns as No. 1 ranked St. Joseph's Prep escaped with a 34-27 win over Our Lady of Good Counsel (N.J.).  Cooper Kim knocked the down the final Hail Mary as time expired for the Hawks. Marques Mason contributed 111 receiving yards on eight catches and added a rushing touchdown. Kolbe Burrell totaled 77 yards on the ground and a touchdown.

Pennsbury edged Central Bucks East, 35-34, after the Patriots failed a fake extra-point attempt with more than two minutes remaining. Chris Lochetta caught an 11-yard pass to pull within one. Falcons' Drew Hensor broke off a 6-yard touchdown to break a 21-21 tie in the fourth quarter. Brad Mickles followed up with what ended up being the deciding touchdown on 19-yard run four minutes later to give the Falcons a 14-point lead.

In Germantown Academy coach Matt Dence's return to his alma mater, the Patriots downed host Father Judge, 31-21, behind 175 yards and two rushing touchdowns by junior running back Trae Vance. Dence, a 1994 graduate of Father Judge, has the Patriots 3-0 so far this season. Father Judge senior quarterback Shane Dooley led the Crusaders (1-2) with 263 yards and a touchdown on 18-of-29 passing. Dooley also added 97 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.

Julz Kelly piled up five touchdowns and the deciding two-point conversion with two minutes left, as Sun Valley edged West Chester East, 50-49. Lance Stone took the game-winning touchdown in from 11 yards out. There were a combined seven touchdowns in the third quarter, with five longer than 50 yards.

Brody McAndrew threw two touchdown passes to Zack Canimore as Neshaminy took down Council Rock North, 47-14. Oleh Manzyk's 65-yard touchdown run and Cory Joyce's 55-yard punt return for a score contributed to the win.

Colin Palis threw a 53-yard touchdown to Colin Robinson and ran for another as Garnet Valley defeated Marple Newtown, 42-14. Robinson added a second score with a 5-yard run, and Danny Bradley and Greg Reynolds added touchdown runs for the Jaguars, who are 4-0 on the year.

Julian White and Shamar Edwards each had two rushing touchdowns as North Penn handled Pennridge, 42-20. Jon Haynes added a 73-yard punt return and a 13-yard touchdown run. The Knights improve to 4-0 on the season.

Three of Matt Cohen's five touchdowns were for more than 50 yards during Radnor's 63-21 win over Ridley. His fourth and fifth scores came from runs of 53 and 59 yards out. Sean Mullarkey threw three touchdowns for the Raiders.

Michael Terra scored two touchdowns on three-yard runs and another on an 11-yard scamper in the first half to carry Quakertown over Upper Moreland, 49-14. He scored his fourth touchdown of the game on a 19-yard pass from Brad Bryan in the third quarter. Bryan threw for two touchdowns and ran for another for the Panthers.

Jack Psenicska went 11 for 18 for 224 yards and four touchdowns as Springfield Delco rolled to a 36-0 victory over Harriton. Frank Bullock hauled in two receiving touchdowns, while Ben Konah had a 63-yard touchdown reception and Jack Spence caught an 83-yard score.

Michael Covert rushed for two touchdowns to lift West Chester Rustin over Kennett, 28-7. Michael Burke and Nick Madonna chipped in rushing scores of their own for the Golden Knights.

Mike Slivka connected with Selvin Haynes for three touchdown passes in Upper Dublin's 34-7 victory over Hatboro-Horsham. Jason Scott returned an interception for 38 yards in the second quarter for the Cardinals.

Josh Corbin and Rahmir Johnson both had rushing touchdowns as Roxborough beat Dobbins, 18-6. The Indians were successful on both two-point conversions and forced a safety.

Plymouth Whitemarsh used two rushing touchdowns and a 45-yard interception return from Michael Paciello to beat Wissahickon, 28-7. Adam Dresnin added a 38-yard touchdown run in the second half.

Boys’ soccer

Aidan Ringiewicz put away the game-winning goal on a cross from Nick Bello as Devon Prep edged Bishop McDevitt, 4-3, in overtime. Connor Kelly added two goals and Bello scored the other for the Tide, who improve to 2-0 in their inaugural season in the Catholic League.

Mekhi Hilton scored both goals in the first half to lift Engineering and Science over Hill Freedman World Academy, 2-1.

Muntasir Noor and Juan Rios had a goal and an assist each in Washington's 5-1 win over Kensington. Nazar Perelyhim paced the Eagles with two goals.

Girls’ soccer

Camryn Lexow registered her fifth goal of the season to lead undefeated Abington over Plymouth Whitemarsh, 5-2. The Ghosts improve to 5-0 on the season.

Freshman Mira Young recorded her first career varsity goal as Science Leadership Academy took down Frankford, 5-1. Amelia Benamara, Rebecca Cassel-Siskind, Saryn Hefner and Autumn Lor accounted for the remaining goals in the win.

Danaisha Rivera put home two goals for Mastbaum in a 5-1 victory over School of the Future. Itzel Cardenas, Kiara Diaz and Tamika Williams added goals for the Panthers.

Julia Mirarchi netted two goals as Cardinal O'Hara downed Upper Darby, 7-0. Alyssa Hanraham made 12 saves in net for the Lions.

Field hockey

Skylar Alcaro delivered the game-winning goal in overtime to give West Chester Rustin a 2-1 triumph over Springfield Delco. Morgan Becker added a goal for the Golden Knights while Christine Ditizio had an assist.

Kelly Baittinger represented the game's only goal, assisted by Danielle Hamm, as Perkiomen Valley sneaked past Methacton, 1-0.

Alexa Collins collected a hat trick in the second half as Spring-Ford scored all its goals after halftime in a 4-0 victory over Boyertown. Kate Crist contributed a goal and assisted one of Collins' goals for the Rams.

Sarah Edelson and Brooke Prochniak each scored a pair of goals as Springside Chestnut Hill beat Penn Charter, 5-0. Noa Haims chipped in a goal for the Blue Devils.

Lauren Curran paced Notre Dame with two goals as the Irish topped Agnes Irwin, 5-0. Paige DiLullo turned away 10 shots for the victors.

Emma Revter recorded a hat trick to carry the Academy of New Church over Upper Moreland, 5-1. Becca Clark and Carolyn Haderson added goals for the Lions.
