A trio of seniors made the most of their final season girls' tennis seson.

Triton's Kristi Twardziak and Atlantic City's Bushra Memon and Chloe Trave were named to the all-South Jersey team as singles players by the tennis coaches association.

Moorestown's Chrissy Chamberlain, who made the team as a doubles player with junior partner Ally Curtis, and the Holy Spirit doubles team of Kelsey Frost and Daniela Cassara, were other seniors to make the coaches' all-South Jersey squad.

Twardziak, a four-year varsity player for the Mustangs and three-time Olympic Conference all-star, compiled a 22-5 record and finished fourth in the Camden County tournament.

Memon and Trave were instrumental in Atlantic City's team success. The two seniors formed a dynamite one-two punch at the top of the lineup as the Vikings won the first South Jersey Group 4 title in the history of the program.

"They carried us here," Atlantic City coach Jack Sorensen said of the Vikings' appearance in the Group 4 state semifinals at Mercer County Park. "This has been a special season for this program, and a lot of it has to do with the way Bushra and Chloe have played. They've been terrific."
