Gitt, a senior forward headed to Iowa, has 52 goals - equaling the mark set by Natalie Beckerman in 1985.

Laura Malinoski added a pair of goals while Sara Lemyre supplied shutout goaltending.

In other Burlco action:

Nicole Havatter and Kaitlyn Stahlnecker combined for 11 saves while splitting the goaltending chores in Burlington City's 3-0 victory at Medford Tech. Shana Hammond orchestrated the Blue Devils' attack with two assists.

Cortney Nataliccio and Kayla Soles each had a goal and an assist and Danielle Solinski came through with five saves, as New Egypt blanked visiting Bordentown, 5-0.

Florence pounded host Palmyra, 7-0, behind Lexi Smith's five-goal outburst.

Nikki Shapiro (three goals) and Sara Powell (two goals, two assists) provided a powerful one-two punch as seventh-ranked Moorestown knocked out visiting Northern Burlington, 6-0. Falcons netminder Emma Bunce kept Moorestown in single digits by turning aside 27 shots.

Cape-Atlantic. Shannon Adams scored off a feed from Katie Champion with 49 seconds left in overtime to cap Egg Harbor Township's wild 4-3 come-from-behind win, after host Millville held a 3-1 second-half lead. The Eagles scored twice in a 2-minute span - including Champion's tying goal with 15 minutes left in regulation.

Jen Eisenberg's second goal of the match, off a penalty corner two minutes into overtime, allowed host Mainland to slip past Oakcrest, 2-1.

Jenn Staab kick-started Ocean City's attack with a goal just 3 minutes, 32 seconds into the match, and the ninth-ranked Red Raiders went on to defeat host Absegami, 3-0. Shannon Lawson picked up a goal and an assist in a 34-shot barrage on Braves goalie Michele McCann.

Olympic. Mary O'Connell tapped home a pass from Moira Penza with just over 24 minutes remaining in regulation, and Bishop Eustace netminder Alex Pecora (two saves) made the lead stand up in a 1-0 victory at Lenape.

Masona Lamb blasted in a shot from the top of the circle with 1:23 left in overtime to lift Pennsauken over host Paul VI, 2-1.

Two goals apiece by Melissa Arthur, Michelle Gonzales and Lauren Thomas enabled host Cherokee to sail past Seneca, 6-0.

Jenna O'Sullivan converted a penalty stroke to cap a strong second half that carried Timber Creek to a 2-0 triumph at Winslow Township. Lindsey Padget stopped three shots in grounding the Eagles.

Katrina Hauck, Kristen Olenick and Nina Orwitz each had a goal to make host Cherry Hill East a 3-1 winner over Cherry Hill West.

Tri-County. Emily Bucher and Stephanie Smith each had two goals and Johanna James assisted on a pair of scores, as 10th-ranked Gloucester ran its record to 6-0 with a 4-1 home win over Woodstown.

Host Schalick scored four times in the second half to finish off Gloucester Catholic, 9-2. Joyce Perry (three goals), Marisa Rizzo (two goals, two assists), Laura Olbrich (two goals, one assist), Jessica Harrell (two goals), Megan Meher (three assists) and Victoria Wright (two assists) shared the spotlight in the Cougars' balanced attack.

Leigh Patrick scored twice and Rachel Cressman contributed a pair of assists to pave the way for Pitman's 5-1 triumph over visiting Penns Grove. Red Devils netminder Ta'Naya Diaz was credited with 15 saves.

Pennsville peppered Deptford goalie Alexus Winningham with 18 shots, including a pair of second-half goals to pull out a 3-1 home win.

Nonleague. Host Clearview, which broke into The Inquirer's Top 10 this week at No. 8, celebrated by taking down visiting Triton, 4-0. Sisters Courtney and Alexa Branco produced one goal and four assists for the Pioneers, now 6-0.

First-half goals by Maddie Galvin and Lara Savon put host Moorestown Friends on track for a 2-0 triumph over Gateway.

Soccer

The wait was a little longer than expected, but Moorestown coach Bill Mulvihill finally notched his 200th career victory on Wednesday when the host Quakers knocked off Northern Burlington, 5-1.

As if to add to the atmosphere surrounding the milestone, the Burlington County League match was halted early due to lightning.

Kayla Herbs, Kelsey Kraemer, Marie McCool, Frankie Angeleri and Nicole Varela scored for Moorestown (1-4), which was an Inquirer preseason Top 10 pick before losing its first four games.

In other Burlco action:

Bordentown broke open a tight match with four second-half goals, riding a hat trick by Kayla Pagnani and two goals by Alexis McTamney to a 6-1 win at Willingboro.

Kayla Bancroft capped her hat trick with the go-ahead goal with 10 minutes remaining in regulation, and host New Egypt held off Pemberton, 3-2.

Olympic. Allegra Ondrejka scored in the second half and assisted on Ashley Hawkins' game-winner in overtime, as seventh-ranked Washington Township pulled out a 2-1 win at No. 3 Bishop Eustace.

Emily Hansinger was the lone Crusader to put the ball past Township goalie Kylie Gorman, who finished with seven saves. Eustace keeper Caroline Carini recorded nine saves.

Elise Pratt scored the game-winner with 10 minutes remaining in the second half, rallying fifth-ranked Timber Creek past visiting Cherry Hill East, 3-2.

East built a 2-1 halftime lead on goals by Taylor Beatty and Kaity Hartkopf, but Olivia McEachern tallied twice to bring the Chargers even. Cougars keeper Lauren Minkoff turned in a solid effort, finishing with 13 saves.

Danielle Genay tied it in the second half for second-ranked Eastern, and the host Vikings held on to play Seneca to a 1-1 draw through two overtime periods. Shelby Lyon scored for the Golden Eagles, who received 17 saves from Brittany Snow.

Shannon Nugent deposited a pair of goals and freshman McKenna Burns dealt two assists, sending 10th-ranked Shawnee to a 6-0 victory at Camden Catholic.

Rachel Jackson notched a hat trick, with Sarah Jackson supplying a pair of assists, as host Cherokee parlayed a fast start into a 4-0 triumph over Triton.

Lauren Anderson and Alyssa Borgese had two goals apiece in Cherry Hill West's 5-1 win at Winslow Township.

Colonial. Haddon Township keeper Katie Getzinger made five saves in posting her fifth shutout of the season, in a 3-0 victory at Paulsboro.

West Deptford goalie Alicia Barger (two saves) barely broke a sweat, as seven Eagles scored in a 7-0 win at Overbrook.

Alex Gravinese had a hat trick for Audubon, which poured in six first-half goals en route to an 8-1 victory over visiting Lindenwold.

Gateway got two goals from Laura Rathof to put away visiting Woodbury, 3-0.

Cape-Atlantic. Victoria Wyand stopped six shots for host Ocean City, and Jessica Scannapieco countered with nine saves for Egg Harbor Township as the teams played through double overtime to a scoreless draw.

Gabriella McKeown's two goals helped host Lower Cape May nip Millville, 3-2.

Vocational Tournament. Kristin Huen made 11 saves and Cape May Tech scored twice in each half t double up host Medford Tech, 4-2, in an opening-round match.
