Sean Kahoun has resigned as Pitman's football coach after eight seasons.

Kahoun, who will remain a teacher in the school, said he wanted to spend more time with his family.

"I have three children under the age of 4," Kahoun said. "It's been really tough on them, tough on my wife. I feel like it's the right time to step away."

Kahoun's teams were 21-59. His 2010 team went 5-5.

"I had great support from the board of education, the administration, and the community," Kahoun said. "I was lucky to coach a lot of great kids. There were a lot of positives in the program."
