Clutch free-throw shooting was key for Haddon Township on Saturday as the Hawks downed Camden Academy Charter, 41-35, in a nonleague boys' basketball game.

Haddon Township made all nine of its free throws in the fourth quarter to account for nine of their 15 points.

Trey Thatcher led the Hawks in scoring with 25 points and six rebounds.

Emmanuel Flores led the Cougars with 10 points.

In other nonleague boys' basketball action: Jaquan Boone scored seven of his nine points in the fourth quarter to lead Overbrook over Triton, 46-43. Will Miller scored a team-high 16 points for Overbrook. Dave Budd scored 16 points for Triton.

Rodney Williams scored 13 points and added five boards as Cherry Hill West defeated Northwest Prep, 64-39. Six players scored at least six points for Cherry Hill West.

Jake Powell and Kevin Wixted scored 11 points each as Cherokee downed Kingsway, 41-38.

Girls' Basketball

Nonleague. Deja Bullock recorded 12 rebounds to go along with her 17 points as Triton downed Overbrook, 47-30. Samantha Funk added 11 points for the Mustangs. Triton allowed just 10 points in the first half.

Cheyenne Clark scored 22 points and added 18 boards for Deptford in a 57-36 win over Penns Grove.
