Ben Youngberg hit a go-ahead RBI double in the 12th inning to help visiting Delran take down Holy Cross, 2-1, Thursday in a Burlington County League Patriot Division baseball clash.

Youngberg, who went 2 for 6 with two RBIs, roped the double to left-center field, allowing Justin McFadden to score.

Bears starter Zach Youngberg allowed one run and totaled 13 strikeouts in nine innings.

Also in the Burlington County Patriot, Austin Papp struck out four over six innings as host Cinnaminson prevailed over Bordentown, 10-2. Papp also went 5 for 5 with one RBI at the plate.

Burlington County Freedom. Mike Muchowski had a double and two RBIs to help host Florence defeat Riverside, 10-7.

Cape-Atlantic American. Ryan Solari went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs in visiting Holy Spirit's 9-4 win over Absegami.

Mike Chontos compiled seven strikeouts in five innings as Egg Harbor Township defeated visiting Mainland, 9-2. At the plate, Chontos went 3 for 3 with three runs scored.

Dylan Tolbert went 4 for 4 with three doubles and six RBIs as host St. Augustine dominated Oakcrest, 20-0.

Cape-Atlantic National. Beau Hall held Cedar Creek to one hit and struck out six, helping Ocean City defeat the visiting Pirates, 8-0.

Colonial. Matt Callahan hit four singles and scored two runs as Sterling defeated host Audubon, 12-6.

Senior Pat Burns had six strikeouts in seven innings to lead host Haddon Township over Haddonfield, 3-0. Burns also hit a bases-clearing double in the fifth inning to knock in the only runs of the game.

Tri-County Royal. Jay Gorman had 10 strikeouts in six innings as host Clearview downed Penns Grove, 6-2.

Jordan Rizzo hit two doubles and drove in two runs to lead Williamstown over visiting Triton, 11-1.

Olympic Patriot. Matt Giampetro was 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs as Cherry Hill West downed Shawnee, 8-6.

Olympic American. Blake Vaczi drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning to propel Washington Township over host Cherry Hill East, 2-1.

Nonleague. Zach Vogelei went 3 for 4 and drove in his 100th career RBI as host Middle Township rolled over Bridgeton, 15-0. Vogelei will play linebacker at Towson.

Calvin Clark had nine strikeouts in seven shutout innings to help Millville down visiting Winslow Township, 3-0.

Golf

Kingsway's Grant Gardiner fired a 1-under-par 71 to win the 2013 Carl Arena/Al Rifkin Memorial Golf Championsip at Vallebrook Golf Club.

The junior won by four strokes over Ocean City's Dom DiGiacomo, Moorestown's Josh Pederson, and Burlington Township's Nick Capetti, who all carded 75.

Lacrosse

James Higginbotham scored six goals in Gloucester Catholic's 14-7 triumph at Mainland.
