Penn State coach Bill O'Brien will be the guest speaker at the 69th annual Brooks-Irvine Memorial Football Club banquet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Cherry Hill.

The all-South Jersey football team will be honored, as will the South Jersey coach of the year, as selected by the club.

Tickets are $55. Call Bill Sonsini at 856-858-8712 or 856-912-1185 or e-mail brooksirvinefb@aol.com for more information.

Four former South Jersey players will be honored as college players of the year: Antoine Lewis of Villanova (Mainland), Carlton Koonce of Fordham (Rancocas Valley), James Monroe of Tabor College (Pemberton), and Mike Pacitti of Widener (West Deptford).

Another banquet highlight will be the announcement of four scholar-athlete award winners.

South Jersey's No. 1 team also will be presented with the Brooks-Irvine Award.
