S. Jersey Girls: Sat. S.J. girls: Cape crown goes to Middle Twp.

Lauryn Fields led Middle Township with 14 points Saturday, and the second-seeded Panthers won the Cape-Atlantic League girls' basketball championship with a 42-39 win over Wildwood Catholic at Stockton College.

Kennedy Johnson paced Wildwood Catholic, the fourth seed, with 20 points.

Middle Township earned its fourth Cape title.

Olympic National. Michelle Obasi scored 16 points, and Camden Catholic topped Woodrow Wilson, 57-48. With the win, Camden Catholic tied Woodrow Wilson for a share of the conference title.

In other Olympic National play, Aliyah Stephens scored 18 of her 27 points in the first half to lead Paul VI to a 50-41 victory over visiting Bishop Eustace.

Obianuju Obianwu scored 17 points and Natalie Alleva had 13 for Bishop Eustace.

Nonleague. Cheyenne Clark set a career high with 33 points and had 20 rebounds in a 66-45 home win against Mainland. Megan Stafford led Mainland with 11 points.
