S. Jersey Girls: C.H. East holds off St. Hubert in OT win

Yamalis Villegas came up big for the Cougars. She scored 12 of her 24 points in the fourth quarter, including a three-point play with 30 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

Villegas also starred in the overtime period, making four foul shots to seal the victory for Cherry Hill East.

Other key contributors for the Cougars were Aliyah Godwin with 11 points and Zoe Peterzel with 10 points.

West Deptford Holliday Tournament. Kayla Mayers led Woodstown with 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Wolverines defeated St. Joseph, 40-32, at the Riverwinds Community Center. Paige Caldwell added 14 points.

Samantha Budd had 21 points to lead West Deptford past Penns Grove, 56-39. Ally Gordon had 13 points.

Haddonfield Holiday Tournament. Jess Larson tied a school record with seven three-pointers, and Delran topped Hightstown, 44-28. Carrie Craft also had seven in 2003. Larson finished with 25 points. Brenna Cloud had 11 rebounds.

Boardwalk Classic. Atlantic County Tech beat Camden County Tech at the Wildwoods Convention Center, 57-24. Yasmeen Nelson had a game-high 19 points. Tamia Taylor had 10 points and nine boards.

Winslow Township topped Cape May Tech, 53-25, in Wildwood. Ashli Cheek had a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Cedar Creek Christmas Tournament. Cedar Creek beat Deptford, 57-42. Fatimah Blackwell and Erika Tanko each had 12 points.

Camden Catholic defeated Atlantic City, 73-53. Brittany Garner scored 11 of her 28 points in the third quarter.

Disney Tournament. Lenape defeated Lake Travis, 47-33 in Orlando, Florida. Alex Seedes scored 13 points.

Lower Cape May defeated Cold Spring Harbor, 41-27. Lauren Holden scored 22 points.

Carol Stutzer-Harris Holiday Tournament. Haddon Township topped Eastern, 46-29, at Paul VI. Morgan Lenahan had a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Bella Preziosi had 14 points.

Rancocas Valley defeated Seneca, 59-39. De'Ja Brown had 14 points and Kristin Smith had 11 points.

Aliyah Stephens netted 18 points with 10 rebounds to lead host Paul VI over Pemberton, 60-25. Isabel Caruso added 11 points.

Amanda Reale and Audrey Wilson each netted 11 points to aid Holy Spirit in a 54-22 win over Pennsauken. Cass Gallagher and Francesca Geromini contributed nine points apiece.

Pitman Holiday Classic. Taylor Vanore netted 25 points in Overbrook's 50-30 win over Moorestown Friends in the tournament championship at Pitman. Shainazia Peterson scored eight points to go along with 13 rebounds. Imani Peterson had 11 rebounds and five steals.

In a consolation matchup, Olivia Amwake deposited 20 points for host Pitman in its 42-27 victory over Palmyra. Brenna Lindner and Allison Sanders each scored seven points.
