S.J. boys and girls: Morocco lifts Holy Cross past Burlington Twp.

Morocco, a senior Temple recruit, scored two goals in the first half and two more in the final 15 minutes of the game.

Nonleague. Durejah Rainner scored twice to power Bridgeton past Lindenwold, 2-0. Caitlyn Magliocco made 22 saves for the Lions.

Laura Esham had 16 saves as Pennsville topped Woodstown, 2-1. Hannah Cooksey and Lexi Slusher scored.

Jamie Esters scored twice as Woodbury defeated Penns Grove, 3-1.

Boys' Soccer

Phil Evans scored his first varsity goal as Moorestown Friends defeated Collingswood, 2-0. Matthew Mullock scored the second goal for the Foxes off a cross from Jack Burrows.

Lee Norton scored two goals to lead Woodbury past Bridgeton, 4-3. Juan Figueroa had two goals and an assist for Bridgeton.

Trey Parker had two goals as Woodstown defeated Pennsville, 5-2. The Wolverines scored four times in the second half.

Tri-County Classic. Will Helm scored two goals and Brendan Bean had 13 saves to lead Wildwood past Gloucester, 3-1.

Girls' Tennis

Sophie Czerniecki did not drop a game at second singles, helping Holy Cross top Trenton Catholic, 5-0, in a Burlington County League matchup. Mary Kate Clothier and Jackie Scarlett won their first doubles match, 6-1, 6-0 for the Lancers.
