Washington Twp. boys' soccer to get national honor

The Washington Township boys' soccer team will be presented with the Army National Guard national ranking trophy from MaxPreps on Friday night at 6 p.m. in a ceremony at the school.

The Minutemen, who went 25-1-1 and beat West Orange for their second consecutive Group 4 state title, finished the season ranked No. 9 in the country by the MaxPreps Computer Rankings.

Washington Township is one of ten boys' soccer teams being honored on the MaxPreps Soccer Tour of Champions.
