At the end of regulation in West Deptford's 81-79 double-overtime win over Woodrow Wilson, the senior sank a three-pointer to tie the opening-round game of the Coaches vs. Cancer tournament at RiverWinds Community Center.

The Eagles' basketball star hit the 1,000-point mark in the third quarter. He finished the game with 29 points.

As time expired in the second overtime period, Charles King (11 points) grabbed a rebound and scored for the win.

Zach Peterson added 21 points. Marcus Malloy registered eight points.

Woodrow Wilson's Hykie Wynn had 18 points, including three three-pointers. Javier Gonzalez De Leon, Mario Mclean, and Tymere Tokley each added 17 points.

Also at Riverwinds, Dean Austin scored 15 points to lead Shawnee in a 58-39 victory over Burlington Township. Dean Noll added 12 points.

Boardwalk Classic. Justin Soto was 7 for 7 from the foul line and finished with 23 points, but Wildwood fell to MaST Charter, 57-54, in the Bernie McCracken Memorial bracket at Wildwood Convention Center. Kyion Flanders had five assists. Trayvon Young had eight rebounds.

Spartan Classic. Bryce Greene had 25 points, including four three-pointers, to lead host Doane Academy to a 66-57 victory over Cross Christian (Del.). Chase Lane added 19 points.

Jeanquai Morton scored 14 points in Riverside's 49-27 win over Foundations Collegiate. Jake Stockton added nine points.

Score at the Shore. Dante Daniel (18 points), Tyler Jones (15), and Joe Marczyk (11) each provided double-digit scoring to carry Holy Spirit to a 59-46 win over Pinelands at Southern Regional. Daniel scored 10 of his points in the fourth quarter, where the Spartans outscored Pinelands, 19-11.

Edwin Rivera had 16 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and a block in Pemberton's 57-55 loss to St. John Vianney. Andrew Heck added nine points, two rebounds, and a pair of assists.

Brian Townsel sank four three-pointers and went 5 for 5 from the foul line en route to 21 points, but Absegami was unable to outlast Southern Regional in a 67-62 loss to the host. Steven Ferebee and Vinnie Nelson added 17 points and 13 points, respectively.

Wrestling

Clayton's Kahlin Wright (106 pound), Dylan Skidmore (145), Nick Lemeshuk (195), and Tammoy Clarke (285) each earned individual victories and led the host Clippers to a triumph at the Clipper Classic.
