Mainland boys swim to Public B state title

Brian McGroarty, Derek Kneisel, and Justin Lui each won two events as Mainland captured the Public B state title in swimming with a 99-71 victory over Scotch Plains-Fanwood Sunday at the College of New Jersey.

Brian McGroarty, Derek Kneisel, and Justin Lui each won two events as Mainland captured the Public B state title in swimming with a 99-71 victory over Scotch Plains-Fanwood Sunday at the College of New Jersey.

The championship was the second in Mainland history and first since 2003. The Mustangs finished the season with a 15-0 record.
