Highlights from Monday's games in South Jersey.

Elizabeth Bonomo scored the game-winning goal with one minute, 8 seconds left in double overtime Monday to lead the Clearview girls' soccer team to a comeback win against visiting Cherokee in the opening round of South Group 4 play. The eighth-seeded Pioneers got goals from Mya Bocchicchio and Julia Michael in the final 17 minutes of the match to come back from a 2-0 deficit.

No. 9 Cherokee jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half as Angela Harris and Olivia McMillan scored a goal apiece for the Chiefs. Both goalkeepers had impressive matches with Cherokee's Rebecca Wolf making 14 saves and Clearview goalkeeper McKenna Dalfonso making 19 stops.

Clearview faces top-seeded Eastern on Thursday in the quarterfinals.

No. 10 Williamstown edged No. 7 Egg Harbor Township, 2-1. After finishing two overtime periods tied, 1-1, the Braves came away with the victory in a shootout, 3-2. Lauren Ebner opened the scoring for Egg Harbor Township in the first half, but Natalie Pantalone tied it for Williamstown in the second half.

Gabrielle Krouse made seven saves in goal for the Braves while Courtney Flaherty made nine saves for the Eagles. Williamstown will face No. 2 Kingsway in Thursday's quarterfinals.

Francesca DiColandrea and Riley Tiernan scored two goals each and Kelli McGroarty chipped in one as No. 1 Eastern topped No. 16 Brick Memorial in South Group 4 action at home. Nicolette Scarduzio and McGroarty picked up two assists apiece.

Lauren Bradley scored the only goal of the contest in the first half as No. 6 Rancocas Valley edged 11th-seeded Shawnee, 1-0, at home. Ashley Orendac notched an assist and Grace Walter made 22 saves in goal. The Red Devils face No. 3 Washington Township on Thursday in the quarterfinals.

Washington Township got goals from Amanda Attanasi and Giovanna Castorina as the Minutemaids blanked visiting Cherry Hill East, 2-0. Rebecca Winslow made 11 saves for No. 14 Cherry Hill East in the loss.

Cassidy McErlain scored all three goals to lead third-seeded Delsea to a 3-1 victory against No. 14 Timber Creek in South Group 3 first round action. Emily Navarrete scored the lone goal for the visiting Chargers. Delsea will face the winner of the Hammonton-Toms River South match on Thursday in quarterfinal action.

No. 8 Gloucester Catholic held on to defeat No. 9 St. Rose, 5-4, in the first round of South A Non-Public action. Mia Lugiano led the Rams with three goals as the team found the back of the net five times in the opening half. Lindsay Bishop and Emileigh Cloak chipped in a goal each.

Gabrielle Hueth had two goals and Lauren Hickey and Kaitlyn McKeown each scored for the visitors. Alyse Capizzi made 20 saves between the posts for Gloucester Catholic, which faces top-seeded St. John Vianney Thursday in quarterfinal action.

Field Hockey

Regan Dougherty scored a hat trick to lift Haddon Township to a 4-0 win against visiting Gloucester in the Central Group 1 quarterfinals. Jada Cybulski picked up two assists and Megan Hoopes chipped in a goal.

Shelby Higinbotham scored the game-winning goal in the first half to lead Woodstown past Overbrook, 4-0, at home. Emma Boeckle scored twice and Charlie Baldwin chipped in one more all in the second half for the Wolverines.
