Friday’s Southeastern Pa. roundup: Katie Labella’s OT goal lifts Carroll field hockey

Katie Labella scored off a pass from Maeve Riehman five minutes into overtime to give Archbishop Carroll field hockey a 1-0 win against Cardinal O'Hara on Friday. Goalie Mary Kate Kearney made nine saves to record the shutout and help Carroll improve to 4-0 in Philadelphia Catholic League play.

Cosima Janssesn and Emily Matson each scored twice as the George School topped the Solebury School, 6-0. Sanaa Hebron and Izzy Robinson-Cloete added goals. Annie Borovoskiy and Eva Kinnel both tallied two assists.

Lauren Curran scored all three goals for Notre Dame in the team's 3-1 victory against Conestoga. Mia Leonhardt had two assists.

Erin Roache scored on two penalty kicks and picked up an assist as Masterman defeated Central, 3-1. Roache scored two goals for the second day in a row. Aden Gonzales also added a goal for the second day in a row. Masterman goalkeeper Madison Meidt made 15 saves.
