Wildcats senior Colby Frank improved his season record to 24-2 with a major decision over Sean Hennessey at 120 pounds. Brad Trego needed just 54 seconds to pin Zach Dorsey at heavyweight and improve his record to 20-8.
Trego's pin was one of Spring-Ford's five on the day, and the Wildcats won eight straight matches between 145 pounds and 285.
Both squads entered Saturday with 6-0 league records and have a pair of league matches left on their schedules.
Also in the Pioneer, Boyertown scored five pins as it took down host Methacton, 40-33. Chase Garber needed just 49 seconds to record a pin at 220 pounds and Jon Neiman needed 31 seconds at 160 pounds.
Ray Young recorded a major decision at 152 pounds as Upper Perkiomen cruised past visiting Phoenixville, 63-9.
Allentown Dieruff Duals. Father Judge knocked off host Berwick Academy, 38-30, behind four first-period pins. Anthony Siwek recorded the quickest pin in 30 seconds at 113 pounds.
Nonleague. Thanks to four wins by forfeit, Cheltenham cruised past visiting Germantown Friends, 42-21. Noah Rosenbloom (113 pounds) and Oliver Liburd (152) recorded first-period pins for the Panthers.
Basketball
Despite Shep Garner's six assists and team-high 23 points, Roman Catholic fell short to Mount Vernon (N.Y.), 82-72, in the third-place game of the Montverde Academy (Fla.) Tournament.
Khyree Wooten poured in 10 points in the second half as Imhotep Charter lost to Shiloh (Ga.), 44-42, in the fifth-place game.
Dickinson College Showcase. Julian Moore had five blocks and 10 rebounds as Germantown Academy rolled over Mercersburg Academy, 59-37. Nick Lindner added eight assists and a team-high 15 points.
PA-NY Challenge. Deion Jones dished out nine assists and Julian Hyden dropped in 24 points as Bensalem topped Telecommunications (N.Y.), 68-45, at Council Rock South.
Wes Brooks hit three three-pointers and North Penn cruised past Automotive (N.Y.), 50-35.
Nonleague. Kyle Early hit a 42-foot shot at the buzzer and Pope John Paul II topped Downingtown East, 48-45. Early finished with 10 points.
