Tues. Pa. girls' roundup: Prendie gets past Little Flower

Brooke Lachette yielded two runs in the bottom of the seventh before finishing the complete-game win. Lachette struck out five and walked three, and Maggie Griendling had a double for Prendie.

Ave Bolli and Fran Faillace homered for Little Flower.

In other Catholic League action, Erica Ragazzone drove a towering three-run homer to left field in the third inning and posted a complete-game win as St. Hubert downed visiting Archbishop Carroll, 7-2.

Ragazzone, a junior righthander, struck out six and walked one. Leadoff hitter Claire Alminde reached base four times and recorded three hits and three runs, and Jazmine Ortiz finished 2 for 3 with a two-run double.

Molly Rafferty fanned six and walked one to help Cardinal O'Hara blank visiting Lansdale Catholic, 6-0. Rafferty also went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored, and Molly Scanlon added a homer and two RBIs.

Inter-Ac. Bernadette Tankle stroked a one-out single in the seventh for a two-run lead, and Episcopal Academy topped host Germantown Academy, 7-5.

Friends Schools. Grace Finkbiner went 2 for 4 and slammed a three-run homer in the sixth inning to help Friends Select turn away visiting Friends' Central, 6-4. Cate MacQueen posted the win with five strikeouts and two walks.

Catholic Academies. Tamara Jennings went 3 for 4 and scored three times as Nazareth Academy topped visiting Gwynedd-Mercy, 11-1. The Pandas clinched the conference title. Jillian Bovitt went 3 for 4 and drove in a run.

Nicole Eberhard drove in three runs and was the winning pitcher as St. Basil downed visiting Villa Maria, 15-5. Sam Maye went 3 for 3 with three runs scored.

Francesca Pugliese hit a two-out single in the sixth to drive home Julianna Tantum, and host Villa Joseph Marie downed Merion Mercy, 9-8.

Suburban One. Diana LaPalombara swiped a pair of bases and had two hits to help Neshaminy roll at William Tennent, 5-0. Lauren Altenburger added a pair of runs scored and two RBIs. Lauren Quense posted the win with eight strikeouts, one walk, and two hits allowed.

Public. Annabelle Rojas drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the fifth and Washington edged Saul, 23-22. Brittany Jones had a triple and four RBIs.

Lacrosse

Ali Singley had three goals and two assists, and Lynda Michaels added four goals and two assists to help Episcopal Academy edge host Germantown Academy, 16-13, in an Inter-Ac game. Goalie Lindsey Reder recorded 10 saves to post the win.

Emma Ebert scored four of her five goals in an 11-4, second-half comeback as Penn Charter topped visiting Baldwin, 19-15.

Suburban One. Ally Frymoyer recorded six saves and three players scored three goals each as Upper Merion rolled at Upper Moreland, 15-4. Liz Botto, Dominique Gambone, and Amanda McAteer scored three times each.

Catholic Academies. Nikki Fisher scored seven goals and Morgan Meehan added a hat trick to help Gwynedd-Mercy ease past host Nazareth Academy, 18-5.
