Downingtown East holds off Bishop Shanahan, 50-45

She scored six of her team-high 17 points in the extra period as the Cougars pulled away behind a strong defensive effort. They held Shanahan to just seven points in overtime, and East converted all 10 of their free throws.

Jordan Ogden scored 21 points for Shanahan, including a game-tying three pointer at the end of regulation.

Also in the Ches-Mont, senior guard Gia D'Angelo scored 19 points to lift Sun Valley over visiting Unionville, 49-31. Katie Maloney, also a senior guard, chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds.

Danielle DiSanto scored a game-high 19 points to help charge Great Valley past host Kennett, 61-30.

Catholic Academies. Freshman guard Libby Tacka's late charge helped Mount St. Joseph turn back visiting Gwynedd-Mercy, 47-41. Tacka hit a three with 1 minute, 30 seconds left to get within one before she recorded a steal on the next possession and hit the go-ahead layup.

The Magic outscored Gwynedd, 10-0, in the final 90 seconds. Meg Geatens hit four free throws down the stretch to seal the win. Alex Louin scored a game-high 16 points, grabbed six rebounds, and recorded six steals.

Mary Grace Zeller and Christina O'Shea grabbed six rebounds each as Merion Mercy pulled out a 49-40 win over visiting Nazareth Academy.

Pioneer. Kaitlyn Eisenhard poured in 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help Boyertown roll over Perkiomen Valley, 53-40. The senior forward also recorded a pair of blocks and four assists.

Suburban One. Deja Rawls grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists as Abington slipped past host Neshaminy, 50-46. Sammy Lochner, a freshman, hit a big three in the fourth to give the Ghosts the lead.

Bicentennial. Lauren Killion's 13 points and Jess Dranzik's 11 helped Lower Moreland knock off host Christopher Dock, 33-23.

Central. Bridget Scott's 16 rebounds and nine points highlighted Strath Haven's 37-34 win over visiting Springfield (Delco).

Myonie Williamson grabbed 13 rebounds and recorded five steals as Radnor rallied past visiting Marple Newtown, 52-44. She scored six of her 20 points in the second quarter as Radnor overcame a 10-point deficit.

KSA Tournament. Hannah Timmons poured in 20 points, and Ciani Cryor added 11 assists and seven steals as Prep Charter downed Canada's Pope John Paul, 63-50, in Orlando.

Crescom Tourney. Sophomore wing Lexi Stover scored all 11 of her points in the fourth quarter as Archbishop Carroll rallied to top Miami (Fla.) Senior, 39-24, in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
