Randy Cuthbert has stepped down as football coach at Pennridge to take over the program at District 11's Emmaus, according to multiple sources.

Cuthbert went 55-43 in eight seasons with the Rams. Last year's squad was 12-2, claimed the Suburban One League Continental Conference title, and advanced to the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA semifinals before losing to Spring-Ford.

Cuthbert, who starred at Central Bucks West and Duke, and Pennridge athletic director David Babb could not be reached for comment.

At Emmaus, Cuthbert will replace Joe Bottiglieri, who resigned last month after guiding the Green Hornets to a 70-51 record, including seven playoff appearances, over 11 seasons.

Cuthbert also coached at C.B. West from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, the Bucks went 9-2 and captured the Suburban One's American Conference title.
