Pa. Girls: Tues. Pa. girls: Episcopal reaches Independent final

Schuyler Aitken added three goals for the host Churchwomen. Katie Schneider paced Notre Dame with four goals and three assists.

Episcopal will face Friends' Central in the final Thursday at a site to be determined. The Phoenix advanced by defeating visiting Agnes Irwin, 14-11.

Bianca Newton scored four goals and Ashley Tedesco added three goals and three assists for Friends' Central.

Freshmen Hannah Keating and Emily Fryer recorded hat tricks for the Owls.

Tri-County. Caroline Batoff tallied a game-high eight goals for second seed Barrack Hebrew, which rolled past third-seeded Kimberton Waldorf, 20-6, in the league semifinals.

All-America Classic. Alex Poplawski, a midfielder for Springfield (Delco), has been selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic, set for July 6 at Towson University.
