Nonleague. Jibri Loving sank a putback with 10 seconds remaining in overtime to give George School a 63-61 victory over visiting Solebury School.

Public A. A PIAA District 12 committee granted former Strawberry Mansion player Donovan Barnes immediate eligibility to compete in games for Math, Civics, and Sciences.

Girls' Basketball

Sox Alexander paired 13 points with 11 assists and Martine Fortune blocked five shots as Shipley downed Narbonne (Los Angeles), 53-48, at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix.

Also at the tournament, Brittany Keyes opened the fourth quarter with back-to-back three-pointers to help Archbishop Wood pull away from Dillard (Fla.), 56-39.
