Pa. Girls: Fri. Pa. girls: Archbishop Ryan tops Penn Charter

MAKE-A-WISH CLASSIC Archbishop Ryan 46, Penn Charter 39: Danielle Skedzielewski, Shannon Glenn, and Alison Szysco scored eight points each as the Ragdolls used balanced scoring to win at Germantown Academy.

Germantown Academy 54, Hill School 26: Lauren Oeth grabbed six rebounds and Erin Lindahl scored 10 points and had five assists as the host Patriots cruised.

NIKE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

Archbishop Wood 62, Salesian (Calif.) 37: Laura Trisch grabbed eight rebounds and poured in a game-high 16 points as the Vikings won their semifinal game in Phoenix. Jess Kaminski added 12 points.

SUBURBAN ONE AMERICAN

Upper Dublin 66, Cheltenham 39: Kayla McAneney knocked down three three-pointers en route to a team-high 18 points to lead the visiting Cardinals. McAneney scored seven points in the second quarter. Regan Gallagher added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Julie Cross scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Jackie Lillo shot 7 for 8 from the field for 14 points.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 39, Wissahickon 18: Asia Baker grabbed 11 rebounds and scored 16 points to help the visiting Colonials roll. Rachel Konowal and Alynna Williams added nine points each.

SUBURBAN ONE NATIONAL

William Tennent 59, Bensalem 33: Nikki Alden grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 21 of her game-high 25 points in the first half as the visiting Panthers raced to a win.

Council Rock North 70, Truman 47: Jessica Gerber knocked down seven three-pointers to tie her own school mark as the host Indians grabbed an easy win. The junior point guard finished with 23 points. Junior center/forward Hailey Burns grabbed 11 rebounds and recorded six steals, three assists, and one blocked shot.

SUBURBAN ONE CONTINENTAL

Central Bucks South 55, Quakertown 16: Jordan Vitelli scored 13 points and Brianna Wade added eight to help the host Titans cruise.

North Penn 44, Central Bucks East 35: Vicky Tumasz' 12 points and Mikaela Giulini's 10 helped the visitors roll to victory.

BICENTENNIAL LEAGUE INDEPENDENCE

Delco Christian 35, New Hope-Solebury 26: Siani McNeil, a sophomore guard, scored 13 points and recorded four steals to lead the host Knights. Paige Thompson added eight points and eight steals.

CENTRAL LEAGUE

Conestoga 53, Penncrest 29: Ellie Mack grabbed six rebounds and recorded four steals to lead the host Pioneers. Mack scored seven of her team-high 18 points in the second quarter. Maddie Tessier-Kay added 13 points, eight rebounds, and a pair of blocks.

Radnor 37, Marple Newtown 27: Myonie Williamson scored a game-high 17 points and recorded five steals to help the host Red Raiders pull out the win. Lauren Pacifico hit a pair of three-pointers and scored all nine of her points in the first three quarters.

Ridley 45, Haverford High 34: Jalessa Rodriguez and Sarah Saraceni combined for 11 fourth-quarter points as the visiting Green Raiders rallied. The game was tied at 26 after three quarters before Ridley finished on a 19-8 run.

PUBLIC LEAGUE

Franklin Towne Charter 40, Frankford 35: Alex O'Neill hit three of her four free throws in the final minute to seal the visitors' win. Madeline Cepparulo scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Valentina Scalici added a game-high 13 points.

Bartram 48, Kensington 22: Bryce Garrett's 24 points charged the host Braves. Sidney Barrow added 10 points.

Simon Gratz 41, Southern 18: Brianna Jenkins scored 14 points and Tianna Barnette added six to lead the visiting Bulldogs.

QUAKER INVITATIONAL

New Garden Friends (N.C.) 44, Germantown Friends 43: Caroline Myran went 6 for 6 from the foul line and scored 10 points, but it was not enough for the Tigers at Friends' Central.

Abington Friends 48, Moses Brown (R.I.) 40: Alexa Middleton scored nine points in the fourth quarter and finished with 20 rebounds to lift the Kangaroos. The sophomore center scored a game-high 21 points. Jade Young recorded four assists and four steals in the fourth quarter.

SPRINGSIDE TOURNAMENT

Springside Chestnut Hill 42, Little Flower 20: Julia Schumacher's 12 points powered the hosts.

NONLEAGUE

Archbishop Carroll 69, Penfield (N.Y.) 60: Anne McKnight dished out six assists, grabbed five rebounds, and scored seven points to lift the host Patriots. Julia Gantz had a team-high 17 points.

Interboro 68, West Catholic 29: Sophomore Amanda Suydan hit a three-pointer to open her first varsity start as the host Bucs rolled. Amber Huddell, also a sophomore, grabbed nine rebounds. Stacie Hallinan had 17 points.

Dobbins 42, Hallahan 37: Diamond Johnson led the way with nine points and Tieanaya Hightower chipped in with eight points to secure the visitors' win.

Calvary Christian 35, Christian Academy 28: Kendra Stum grabbed 10 rebounds, recorded eight steals, and poured in a game-high 17 points to lead the Cougars. Kelsey Caldwell added eight rebounds.
