Pa. Girls: Fri. Pa. girls: Power powers Marple with 40

BASKETBALL MARPLE NEWTOWN TOURNAMENT Marple Newtown 67, Phoenixville 58: Junior Rylee Power scored a career-high 40 points and Carley Hamilton collected 20 points and 16 rebounds and blocked four shots for the host Tigers. Naomi Washington paced the Phantoms with 21 points. The Tigers will face Bishop Shanahan in the final at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bishop Shanahan 51, Delco Christian 21: Ciara Forde scored 12 points and Nikki Juliana added nine for Shanahan.

BOARDWALK RAY MARTIN MEMORIAL

North Penn 41, Neshaminy 33: Sam Carangi led a balanced attack with 10 points as the Maidens won in the championship game at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Vicky Tumasz and Irisa Ye each scored eight points and Mikaela Giuliani added six points and 11 rebounds for North Penn.

BOARDWALK FRANK McALARNEN

Radnor 52, Delsea (N.J.) 24: Radnor's Myonie Williamson shot 7 for 11 from the field and scored 17 points at the Wildwoods Convention Center.

WISSAHICKON HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT

Souderton 50, Perkiomen Valley 42: NJIT recruit Bianca Picard and Allison Gallagher each finished with 15 points as the Indians won the tournament championship. Perkiomen Valley's Katie Armstrong posted a game-high 17.

Southern Lehigh 46, Wissahickon 35: The host Trojans received 10 points from Daria Earland, nine from Bridget Sweeney, and eight from Julie Weber in the consolation-game defeat.

WEST CHESTER CLASSIC

Cardinal O'Hara 65, Oley Valley 23: Four Lions - Mia Farmer (13), Christina Manning (12), and Sam Amicone and Hannah Nihill (10 each) - reached double figures at West Chester University.

Archbishop Ryan 42, West Chester Rustin 35: Sophomore Shannon Glenn's 11 points, including three three-pointers, led the Ragdolls.

UPPER DUBLIN CARDINAL CLASSIC

Abington 59, Villa Joseph Marie 28: Deja Rawls recorded 18 points, 5 steals, and 5 assists for the Ghosts. Michael Harris added 14 points.

SPRING-FORD TOURNAMENT

Council Rock South 42, Conestoga 31: Taylor Dillon's 19 points sparked the Golden Hawks, who used a 19-7 third quarter to overcome a three-point halftime deficit. Harvard-bound Maddy Tessier-Kay paced the Pioneers with 11 points.

Penn Charter 69, Central Bucks South 61: Hannah Fox deposited 22 points and Mireyah Davis chipped in 17 for the Quakers.

GEORGE W. SNEAR TOURNAMENT

Mount St. Joseph 54, Pope John Paul II 40: Villanova signee Alex Louin compiled 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists at the Fellowship House in Conshohocken as the Mount rolled to the final. Carly Monzo, a Loyola (Md.) recruit, added 10 points. Ellen Charnaskey scored 16 for Pope John Paul II.

DIAMOND CLASSIC

Harriton 69, Caesar Rodney (Del.) 30: The Rams' Katie Melvin totaled 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals.

BOYERTOWN BEAR CLASSIC

Boyertown 58, Pennridge 48: Maria Garofolo led the way with 13 points, and 11 Bears scored to send Boyertown to Saturday's 6 p.m. final against Downingtown East. Abby Kapp was the only other Bear in double figures, with 10 points. Devan Rimmer had 15 for the Rams.

Downingtown East 66, Daniel Boone 38: Aryah Aungst topped five Cougars in double figures by scoring 14 points. Katelyn Crum added 13, Lindsay Kent scored 11, and Kennedi Van Eyken and Laura Ochsner had 10 apiece.

LOWER MORELAND ROTARY TOURNAMENT

Lower Moreland 48, Truman 40: Sophomore Lauren Killion had 20 points and eight steals as the host Lions advanced to Saturday's final. Khristaijah Jackson scored a game-high 23 for Truman.

PREFERRED SPORTSWEAR CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT

Interboro 38, Simon Gratz 24: Stacie Hallinan's 14 points and five steals and Brandi James' 12 points and 12 boards propelled the host Bucs into Saturday's 6 p.m. final vs. Sun Valley.

Sun Valley 56, Penncrest 36: Kate Lannon scored 15 of her 23 points in the second half and grabbed 12 rebounds for Sun Valley.

OXFORD TOURNAMENT

Chichester 59, Pequea Valley 39: Haley Sipple (18) and Logan Newman (17) combined for 35 points as the Eagles advanced to Saturday's 2 p.m. final vs. Wilmington Charter, a 55-50 winner over the host Hornets.

QUEEN ANNE'S TOURNAMENT

St. Basil 50, Notre Dame (Md.) 46: Kate Skalski had 12 points and Kalee Fuegel added 10 in Maryland.
