Kelly scored all of his 17 points before halftime as visiting Conwell-Egan downed Cardinal O'Hara, 68-56, in a Catholic League boys' basketball game.
Nine of Kelly's 17 points came on three-pointers. The Eagles pulled out to a 36-17 lead by halftime.
Three other Conwell-Egan players scored in double digits: LaPri Pace (14 points), Chase Kumor (13), and Stevie Jordan (11).
Mark Plousis had a game-high 18 points for Cardinal O'Hara. Tim Swartz added 13. The Lions cut Conwell-Egan's lead to 10 by the fourth quarter but couldn't continue the rally in the last eight minutes.
Brawl Behind the Wall. Rahim Washington's 18 points helped lead Prep Charter to a 66-55 triumph over host Girard College. Washington, a junior guard, scored 11 of his points in the third quarter. Amari Moulton, Michael Diggins, and Johnny Edens each scored nine points for the Huskies.
Devante Truitt scored a game-high 21 points for Philadelphia Electrical in a 76-48 rout of Adelphi Academy (N.Y.). Truitt scored eight of his points in the second quarter, when the Chargers outscored Adelphi Academy, 23-7. Philadelphia Electrical was strong on the boards, with Mike Cooper pulling down 14 rebounds and Sophaun Brown grabbing 13.
Girls' Basketball
Lexi Stover scored 12 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter to help Archbishop Carroll pull away from visiting St. Hubert, 60-45, in a Catholic League matchup.
Stover, a junior shooting guard, went 7 for 7 from the free-throw line in the second half. Jess Carney, a sophomore guard, scored eight of her 12 points in the first half. The Patriots outscored St. Hubert, 38-25, in the second half.
Sugar Bowl Prep Classic. Despite Olivia Gorman scoring eight of her 17 points in the fourth quarter, Germantown Academy fell to Curtis (La.), 62-54, in New Orleans.
Margaret Anne Hubbell had a team-high 18 points for the Patriots. The senior forward scored 10 of her points in the first quarter.
Football
Imhotep Charter's Deandre Scott and Aaron Ruff played in Friday night's Offense-Defense All-American Bowl at the Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando.
Scott, a senior defensive back, is headed to Arizona State. Ruff, a senior offensive lineman, will play for Temple.
