Brad Patton's sixth-inning double scored a run and gave West Chester Henderson the lead Monday, and the Warriors never looked back in a 4-2 win at Octorara in a nonleague game.

Chandler Liero led off the sixth inning with a base hit, one of his two hits for the day, and scored the winning run.

In other nonleague play:

Dan Gittis tossed six shutout innings and gave up one hit to lead Downingtown East to a 3-0 win at Sun Valley.

Dylan Nicklas threw a two-hitter with seven strikeouts in Great Valley's 9-0 home win against West Chester East.

Suburban One American. Connor Barton crushed a bases-loaded single over the right fielder's head in the eighth inning to get Cheltenham a 6-5, walk-off win against visiting Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Softball

Central Bucks South's Maddie Decker and Hailey Warner combined to hold Garnet Valley to two hits in a 1-0 road win in a nonleague game. The duo struck out 14.

In another nonleague game, Alexa Mintros homered to help Oxford top visiting Bishop Shanahan, 4-2.

Boys' Lacrosse

Mike Palladino scored his third goal in overtime to give Boyertown a 2-1 home win against Methacton in a Pioneer Athletic Conference match.

Central. Dan Buckman led Lower Merion with three goals in a 10-5 victory against visiting Marple Newtown.

Girls' Lacrosse

Sara Hughes and Ellie Schmidt each tallied three times in Methacton's 11-8 home win over Perkiomen Valley in a Pioneer Athletion Conference match.

Catholic Academies. Caroline Corzel exploded for seven goals in Merion Mercy's 18-13 win at Gwynedd-Mercy.

Nonleague. Kira Gensler netted four goals to lead Spring-Ford past visiting State College, 13-11.
