It had been less than a week since the Bonner-Prendergast baseball team saw its 21-game winning streak in the Catholic League snapped, and it appeared the Friars were headed to another rare league loss Wednesday.

And then Danny Healey did what cleanup hitters are supposed to do. Healey clubbed his second home run of the game in the seventh inning to force extras, and Bonner-Prendergast went on to outslug host Lansdale Catholic, 10-8, in eight innings.

Jesse Basden's two-run, two-out shot in the eighth scored the go-ahead runs. Healey and Basden combined to go 4 for 9 and drive in seven runs.
