Edwards scored all eight of her points in the third quarter and the host Monarchs came from behind to edge Rennaissance Academy, 34-29, in a Tri-County League girls' basketball game.

Essence Shaw netted a team-high 10 points. Elaisha Bagwell dropped in seven.

Boys' Basketball

Ben Janisch poured in 21 points and Wade Wang added 16 to lead Kimberton Waldorf at Coventry Christian, 53-49, in a nonleague game.
