Pa. Girls: Sacred Heart nips McDevitt, 63-61

Jessica McTaggart and Lauren Kilroy converted two free throws each in overtime for Sacred Heart.

Bishop McDevitt's Sierra Dacosta sank a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining in regulation to force the extra period. Dacosta, who had a game-high 29 points, also drained a shot from just inside half-court at the buzzer in the first half.

Sacred Heart's Madison Schneider had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and McTaggart dished out six assists.

SPARTANS TOURNAMENT

Perkiomen School 42, Pennington 40: Kristen Burdo had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Panthers at Solebury School.

Friends' Central 67, Solebury School 34: Iyanna McCurdy scored 29 points to lead the Phoenix. Denia Campbell scored 17 for host Solebury School.

Westtown 41, Friends Select 19: Naomi Jimenez had 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals, and 2 assists for the hosts.

Merion Mercy 50, Villa Joseph Marie 27: Jada Smith had 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 blocks; Valez Jackson had four assists; and the visiting Golden Bears rolled.

Garnet Valley 44, Conestoga 29: Jordan Ireland scored 16 points to lead the visiting Jaguars. Jill Mascioli pulled down eight rebounds for Conestoga.

Ridley 66, Upper Darby 35: Hailee Mayer scored nine of her 12 points during a 27-point third quarter to help the hosts pull away.

Strath Haven 52, Harriton 31: Katie Fisher poured in 10 of her 17 points in the third quarter to help the visitors pull away. Sophia Grady had 22 points, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds for Harriton.

Mastery North 47, Simon Gratz 38: Cilah Womack had 20 points and four steals, and Stephanie Reed had 20 points and 10 rebounds to power the visitors.

Lincoln 37, Franklin Towne Charter 34: Alexis Parsley shot a three-pointer from the left side of the arc just before the buzzer to win it for the visitors. Karla Williams had the assist.

Math, Civics and Sciences 42, Science Leadership 34: Bianca Dunn scored 16 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter to help rally the host Mighty Elephants to victory.
