FOOTBALL

Bob Rosenberger stepped down as William Tennent's football coach after two seasons, citing conflicts with his work schedule.

"I'm a teacher in the North Penn School District," he said. "And with a recent change, it's harder and harder for me to get to Tennent on time."

Rosenberger compiled a 6-14 record.    After going 2-8 in 2013, the Panthers improved to 4-6 in the recently completed season.

"We were in every game," Rosenberger, 42, said. "We were a couple of points away from winning a few more."
