Beren scored a power- play goal off an assist from Jarrett Slear to give Henderson the lead for good, 2-1, 40 seconds into the second period.
Matt Carreras added a goal and two assists. Ryan Tench had two assists and Sean Miller had a goal and an assist.
Steve Cavaliere had a goal and an assist for Springfield, which had reached four consecutive finals. Henderson was seeded ninth. Springfield was the No. 4 seed.
In a later game at Ice Line, Brett Charles helped guarantee an all-West Chester final by leading No. 2 West Chester Rustin to a 9-3 victory over No. 19 Crestwood.
Christie finished with four goals and three assists. Eric Flynn added two goals and two assists. Tommy Sloan had a goal and four assists.
