Many players who miss a portion of the season with an injury don't have their usual impact upon their return. That wasn't the case for the St. Joseph's-bound Monaghan.
She came back after missing the first seven games of the season with an ankle injury as her usual fantastic self. The 5-foot-7 senior averaged 18.5 points per game and knocked down 41 three-pointers.
Monaghan helped the Pandas win their first state playoff game in program history and reach the quarterfinals of the Class AAA tournament.
