Pa. boys and girls: Middleton leads Abington Friends past Hun

Alexa Middleton probably will gain a bunch of fans in New Jersey next year when she takes her post game to Monmouth.

But on Wednesday, the Abington Friends senior spent her night frustrating a team from the Garden State.

Middleton paired 20 points with 11 rebounds to power the Kangaroos to a 71-22 nonleague win over visiting Hun School.

Hun School, which plays in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, is located in Princeton.

Paige Mott and Jade Young had 12 points each.

Penn-Jersey. K'viah Breazeale had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Jen Mullen added nine points and six assists as New Foundations cruised past visiting Villa Victoria, 53-26.

Boys' Basketball

Jair Bolden scored 25 points to lead host Westtown to an 84-69 nonleague victory over Mont Clare Academy.

Brandon Randolph added 22 points and Mo Bamba had 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Moose, who improved to 3-0.
