Pa. Boys: Pa. boys: Moore's free throws lift West Catholic past World Comm

Jeohnni Moore sank a pair of free throws with eight seconds remaining Friday and they proved to be the difference as host West Catholic rallied for a 65-63 victory over World Communications in a nonleague boys' basketball game.

Moore (20 points) and Cyrie Coates (17 points) both scored eight points in the third quarter for the Burrs, who trailed by 43-31 at halftime.

Reggie Jackson scored 20 points for World Communications.

Central 53, Glen Mills 44: Tyler Jefferson scored 17 points for the visitors.

Dobbins 59, Eastern University Charter 45: Tyzja Faison scored nine of his 17 points in the first half as the home team built up a 36-14 lead at the break. He also had seven rebounds. Tariq Boyer added 14 points and 18 rebounds.
