The City Scholastic Play-By-Play Classic, featuring four of the area's top-10 squads, is set for Wednesday at Arcadia University.

In the opener at 6:30 p.m., No. 5-ranked Abington will take on No. 4 Archbishop Wood. That will be followed, about 8 p.m., by No. 3 Imhotep Charter against No. 2 Neumann-Goretti.

Abington is led by point guard Robbie Heath, 6-foot-6 forward Eric Dixon, and guard Lucas Monroe. The Ghosts won their tip-off tournament last weekend with victories over Haverford High and Perkiomen Valley.

Archbishop Wood is spurred by guards Collin Gillespie, Tyree Pickron, and Andrew Funk, 6-5 wing Matt Cerruti, and 6-11 center Seth Pinkney.

Imhotep Charter is powered by a trio of Division I senior recruits: guards Daron Russell (Rhode Island) and David Beatty (South Carolina), and 6-5 forward Koby Thomas (Robert Morris).

Neumann-Goretti's headliners are lead guard Quade Green (Kentucky) and 6-8 forward Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree (Villanova). Support comes from 6-9 forward Marcus Littles, 6-4 forward Mike Millsip, and guard Dymir Montague.
