Friday’s Southeastern Pa. high school football roundup: Coatesville football notches 700th win in program history

Recapping the top high school football games from Friday in Southeastern Pa.

A majority of Friday's football games were postponed due to lightning, including a Central League matchup between Garnet Valley and host Haverford High. The Jaguars and Fords will resume play at 6 p.m. Saturday. Check out our scoreboard for updates.

Coatesville claimed the 700th win in program history with a 35-19 win over Cumberland Valley. Aaron Young scored a pair of touchdowns for the Red Raiders (3-0).

Michael Terra did it all for Quakertown in a 21-19 victory over Central Bucks West. Terra ran for two scores and returned a fumble for a touchdown for the Panthers (3-0).

Jordan Collazo's 16-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter lifted Hatboro-Horsham past Souderton, 8-7. Collazo also punched in the two-point conversion.

Big play of the night: Zachary Treadwell returned a fumble 75 yards for a touchdown as West Philadelphia blanked Southern, 14-0.

Academy of New Church blocked an extra point in overtime to come away with a 38-37 triumph over New Hope-Solebury.
