Sam Sessoms recorded 21 points as the Shipley boys' basketball team beat Academy of the New Church, 65-50, on Wednesday in a Friends Schools League game.

Khai Champion had 15 points for the Gators, who lost to Westtown in last season's FSL title game.

Reggie James scored a game-high 15 points as Perkiomen School took down Germantown Academy, 68-32.

Nick Guadarrama and Sam Corrao added 13 and 10 points, respectively, for the Panthers, who made 11 shots from beyond the arc.

Deuce Turner had 22 points in Malvern Prep's 77-72 win over Phelps. Rahdir Hicks and Isaac White each finished with 17 points.

The Hill School defeated Episcopal Academy, 71-55, behind 14 points from Nick Alikakos. Xavier Mayo added 11 points while Chase Audige, Caleb Dorsey, and Daquan Morris had 10 points apiece.

Alex Capitano recorded 22 points for the Churchmen. Matt Dade finished with 15 points.
