Tuesday's Pennsylvania roundup: Plymouth Whitemarsh's Taylor O'Brien surpasses 1,500 career points

O'Brien is now the third all-time leading scorer in P-W program history.

Taylor O'Brien scored 15 points to surpass 1,500 for her career as the Plymouth Whitemarsh girls' basketball team took down Upper Moreland, 64-18, on Tuesday. She is now the third all-time leading scorer in program history.

Lauren Fortescue led all scorers with 16 points and eclipsed 800 for her career.

Paige Mott filled the stat sheet with 13 points, nine rebounds, and six blocks in Abington Friends' 73-42 win over Olney. Zaniyyah Ross-Barnes and Kendall Hodges had 18 and 14 points, respectively.

Mo'ne Davis scored a game-high 15 points in Springside Chestnut Hill's 50-46 triumph over Penn Charter. Caroline Clark finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.

Archbishop Wood fell to Riverdale Baptist, 58-46, at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix. Honesty Scott-Grayson scored a game-high 16 points for Riverdale Baptist.

Katie May and Mia Andrews each had 12 points for Archbishop Wood.

In other Nike Tournament of Champions action, Alexa Naessens had 14 points and 16 rebounds in Germantown Academy's 60-53 victory over California's West Campus. Jaye Haynes added 16 points.

Sacred Heart beat Merion Mercy, 53-41, behind 11 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks from Kyra Quigley. Eileen Piombino led with 19 points.

Boys' Basketball

Eric Dixon ended with 18 points and surpassed 1,000 for his career to lead Abington past Council Rock South, 74-45. He became the only underclassman in school history to reach the milestone.

Chris Arcidiacono scored 34 points as Neshaminy defeated Pennridge, 72-68.

Denelle Holly Jr. finished with 17 points and eight assists as Martin Luther King held off Math, Civics and Sciences, 74-69. Hyseir Miller added 16 points.

Marquis Moore recorded a double-double with 24 points and 16 rebounds to lead Parkway Northwest past Franklin Towne Charter, 68-40. Andre Davis added 20 points.

Steven Dao and Akello Mosby each had 17 points as Engineering and Science outlasted West Philadelphia, 66-59, in overtime.

Sincere Pratt notched 26 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and six steals in Bodine's 61-48 victory over Hill Freedman World Academy. Malik Haynes-Smith ended with 20 points and seven rebounds.

Anthony Brown scored 22 of his 31 points in the first half as String Theory defeated Parkway Center City, 76-57.

Boys' Swimming and Diving

Ivan Puskovitch set new pool records in the 200 IM and 500 free as Episcopal Academy took down Germantown Academy, 108-78, at Burke Natatorium.

Puskovitch finished the 200 IM in a time of 1:54.06 and 500 free in a time of 4:32.09. Jack Christian and Cole Whitsett also won two events each for Episcopal Academy.

Girls' Swimming and Diving

Alex Sumner and Hadley DeBruyn led Episcopal Academy past Germantown Academy, 108-78. Sumner took first in the 100 fly and 100 back, while DeBruyn won the 200 IM and 500 free.
