Wednesday's Pennsylvania roundup: AFS girls' basketball defeats Episcopal Academy in OT

Aby Camarou's only two points of the game came off a putback in overtime as the Abington Friends girls' basketball team defeated Episcopal Academy, 53-52, on Wednesday.

Mihjae Hayes ended with 16 points for the Kangaroos. Paige Mott and Jordan Smith each had 13 points.

Amaris Baker scored a game-high 21 points in Baldwin's 49-38 victory over Hun School. Anajah Brown recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks for the Bears, who got six steals from Alex Loomis.

Madison Harris and Rene Hart had 13 points apiece in Science Leadership's 57-17 triumph over Bartram. Alexis Perkins notched 12 points, seven assists, and six steals.

Samirra Howard-Williams filled the stat sheet with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 rebounds in Audenried's 72-61 victory over Engineering and Science. Denijsha Wilson had 36 points and eight assists.

Jo Morrison netted 20 points as GAMP beat Esperanza, 39-20, for the first varsity win in program history.

Shanice Boyd and Daeja Cromartie each scored 20 points as Parkway Northwest defeated Parkway West, 52-33. Boyd also finished with 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Prep Charter took down Parkway Center City, 52-39, behind 28 points from Nayyirah Neal. Ruqayyah Neal added 12 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.

Girls High held off Martin Luther King, 44-24, thanks to 28 points from Janai Jarrett.

Jo Morrison had 20 points as GAMP beat Esperanza, 39-20. It was the first varsity win in girls' basketball for GAMP.

Marayah Roher notched 28 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in Sankofa Freedom's 66-22 rout of Frankford. Nadira Abdullah added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Boys' Basketball

Ed Croswell recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds as St. Joseph's Prep remained unbeaten with a 55-37 triumph over Germantown Academy.

Trevor Wall and Kyle Thompson added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Hawks. Gabe Arizin ended with eight points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Zach Anderson led the Patriots with 15 points.

Justin Anderson had 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists as Archbishop Carroll stayed undefeated with a 76-62 triumph over Cheltenham.

Nasir Stanley and Taahir Bethea recorded 15 and 13 points, respectively, as Franklin Learning Center took down Franklin Towne Charter, 50-45.

Solebury School sneaked past Academy of the New Church, 55-54, behind 19 points from Devon Brewster. Ryan Conde added 17 points.

Steve Cacciatore delivered a pin in the final match to give Southern a 42-39 win over Boys' Latin.
