Overanalyze held off Frac Daddy and Carve to earn trainer Todd Pletcher his first win in the Kentucky Derby prep since back-to-back Arkansas Derbies in 2000 and '01.
Prerace favorite War Academy pulled up on the back stretch but was able to walk off the Oaklawn Park track.
The race's other favorite, Oxbow, never threatened.
Blue Grass Stakes. Java's War edged Palace Malice by a neck to win the $750,000 Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland and solidify his credentials for the Kentucky Derby.
With his first Grade I stakes victory, Java's War earned 100 more points in the Road to the Kentucky Derby standings after starting the day with 22. Rydilluc went off as the race favorite and set the early pace before fading to finish fourth.
Parx Racing. Tujoes captured the $77,000 Lyman Handicap, one of two stakes for Pennsylvania-breds at Parx Racing. Arlo got the runner-up spot with Layers third and 48-1 longshot Braulio fourth.
Villette put away pacesetter Ann's Smart Dancer for a 21/2-length victory in the $79,250 Foxy J.G. Stakes for fillies and mares.
