Nasa, owned by Pat Chapman's Someday Farm and trained by John Servis, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite. He debuted on Sept. 6, finishing second in a five-furlong state-bred special weight behind Flagndini. Nasa came back three weeks later and dominated, winning by nine lengths at the seven furlongs. After sitting out for nearly two months following his maiden breaker, he finished third on Nov. 16 in the $75,000 Christopher Elser Memorial Stakes. Kendrick Carmouche has been named to ride.

Flagndini is the 7-2 second choice. Roberto Alvarado gets the mount.

Third choice is Cash is King's Awesome Alex (9-2), son of Afleet Alex, and trained by Butch Reid and ridden by Frankie Pennington.
