Mount St. Joseph graduate Katie Reinprecht scored before Katie O'Donnell (Wissahickon High) connected on a penalty corner by redirecting a shot by Rachel Dawson (Eastern). Lauren Pfeiffer (Lenape) finished off the scoring with a goal in the final minutes.
Claire Laubach led the team with two goals. Lauren Crandall (Central Bucks East) is the captain.
WINTER SPORTS: Andy Gabel stepped down from major committees with the International Skating Union and U.S. Speedskating after being accused of a sexual relationship with an underage skater in the 1990s.
Gabel, 48, issued a statement saying he "displayed poor judgment in a brief and inappropriate relationship with a female teammate." Speedskater Bridie Farrell said she was 15 and Gabel 33 when their relationship began in 1997.
TENNIS: Five-time Grand Slam singles champion Martina Hingis, 32, of Switzerland leads the 2013 class for the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The others are Cliff Drysdale, Charlie Pasarell, and Ion Tiriac. Australian player Thelma Coyne Long's election was announced earlier.
SOCCER: Former England captain David Beckham will play in an all-star game in China this year as part of a deal to help raise soccer's profile in the world's most populous country.
COLLEGES: Michigan hired former Wolverines linebacker Roy Manning as an assistant on coach Brady Hoke's staff. He will coach outside linebackers. Defensive coordinator Greg Mattison is adding the title of defensive line coach.
