Mo'ne Davis to attend WNBA playoff game
Taney star pitcher, who aspires to playing in the WNBA, will meet with teams from Phoenix, Minnesota, competing in playoffs.
THE BRILLIANT pitching of Taney star Mo'ne Davis at the Little League World Series continues to catapult her into the national spotlight.
Davis has dreams of reaching the WNBA. The league has stepped forward and will fly her and her parents to Minneapolis for Game 2 of the Western Conference finals tomorrow between the Phoenix Mercury and the Minnesota Lynx, who feature Davis' favorite player, UConn product Maya Moore. She will meet with both teams before the contest and sit with league president Laurel Richie during the game.
The game airs at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
